Online Resources from the LRC to support Remote Learning
Remote Learners! Don’t forget you have access to many ebooks to support you with your college work:
- eBook Central: unlimited access to subject textbooks and wider reading
- VLeBooks: individually selected by the LRC: we take requests!
- Gale ebooks: database of encyclopedias and reference sources within the Gale ebooks platform. For multidisciplinary research
You will need to sign in with your OpenAthens account (use your college username and password) to access them from home. Please contact a member of the LRC team for more information: you can contact them on email at ask4info@solihullsfc.ac.uk to do so.
Finding your courses
New first years should be automatically enrolled onto your new courses. Click "login" (top right) to log in to moodle, and your courses will be available in the navigation block. If you need some help, ask your teacher.
Second years on Linear courses - you won't be automatically enrolled onto your second year linear moodle course. You need to find it in the courses menu, and visit it to enrol on it.
